Dr Burdick in Toronto!

True to my International Consultant and Agent vocation, an overdue trip to Canada was successful in making connections with three outstanding institutions and individuals. ARROWSMITH is one such school that promotes the remediation and welfare of learning disabled youth with important research contributors. Similar to the US, youth who do not graduate secondary school have few choices. For those who need vocational training, colleges such as Humber offer some genuine opportunity, and they offer special services for students with disabilities (http://studentservices.humber.ca/ssd/).

Northwoods Graduates~

Celebrating some of my new graduates from a gem of a program up in the great Northwest. It’s a tremendous feeling of satisfaction in knowing that I chose the right program for these two graduates when both agreed that there was nothing they would change about the programs ~ they “changed” themselves. As one said, “I met the challenge, and succeeded.” The parents now tell others of the benefits of boarding for youth.

I had a sensational tour of both the Promises Malibu and the West LA facility. For the right individual, these programs make the recovery part of the equation work flawlessly with therapeutic treatment. And there’s a lot more – but you’ll have to read on!
